The brand has dedicated a subdivision entitled "Protect Your Peace At All Costs" to the youth. Before reaching the age of 10, the founder of Argh U Mad!?!, Nikole Nunoo, discusses how she was robbed of her innocence, and how she kept a heavy secret away from her immediate family in fear of their reaction. Later on in her adult life, during her last year of completing her undergraduate studies in Psychology, a self-assessment was required to complete her Health Psychology course to graduate from the University. Therapy was recommended to her for the first time in her life regarding this matter by her empathetic professor when Nikole shared a very emotional secret after completing her self-assessment during her professor's office hours. It was at that time of processing her unveiling when Nikole's long time secret was eventually exposed to her family, as the first step towards healing recommended by the campus therapist. That was Nikole's first experience in being comfortable in seeking therapy. After completing therapy and engaging in a few support groups, the study of Psychology became more than just a field of study, but a missing piece to life's equation for her. Mental Health offered clarity, peace and balance to her lifestyle, as a young adult. Since then, and when life has thrown Nikole a few curveballs she is reminded, and has vowed to "Protect her Peace At All Cost" in doing so she is an advocate for speaking up and having those uncomfortable conversations with those you love and respect the most. She has started the message with her own daughter in teaching her how to self-advocate and is encouraging all families to incorporate this practice in their homes as well.
